I had presumed that the book will be about Technology Transformations. However, to my surprise, the book is more about #CulturalTransformation, #SustainingPerformance and #Thriving in #AmbiguousEnvironment.
As an HR Professional, I am thrilled by the kind of attention Mr. Nadella has given to #Culture and reimagined vision for 21st century Microsoft. I am in complete awe with the kind of discussions described in the book.
Its a good read for the people struggling to answer:"Culture Change is whose responsibility?"
How to compete and collaborate in the 21st century beautifully unfolds as you continue to read more. Microsoft has converted so many competitors(e.g. #Apple, #RedHat, #Samsung, #Google, #Yahoo) into partners by reinforcing #Values and keeping the focus on expanding the customer base for everyone. It has done wonders for them and their partners. Artifical Intelligence, Mixed Reality, and Big Data have been discussed in detail towards the last 3 chapters of the book.
Last but not the least , it was good to read story of humble background and formative years of Mr. Nadella. Book leaves one with inspiration to do more and being a continuous learner. #LeadershipTrails
