Standing Workstations!

I have been constantly promoting #standing #workstations for past 4 years. I can be found operating out of self-assigned standing workspace at office sometimes. For me its four and a half feet cabinet next to my workstation which is very helpful indeed to stand and work. I truly believe that workspace needs to become more ergonomic with low cost and effective solutions to create the win-win proposition for both Employees and Employers. As #TimCook, #Apple #CEO endorsing standing workstation in the attached article I hope it will trigger more people to think on these lines and make more health friendly workstations. Not only workstations but meetings rooms can also become standing meeting rooms for short and effective meetings. Tim says "#SittingIsNewCancer". Few others have already said that "#SittingIsNewSmoking". Let's see how long it takes for Indian and other Global organizations to start implementing this new concept in the workspace.
